The tune up kit for the Ellison Original LetterMachine has everything you'll need to get your machine running great again. Kit Includes: A set of pressure bearings, end bearings with tool, an original standard cutting pad, 3 mylar shims, an "I" shim, 1/8" hex wrench, a deluxe die pick and 4 quick change pins.
Signs you need to replace your bearings: After several years of use, the Pressure Bearings may need replacing. If any of the following situations occur, the Pressure Bearings/End Bearings need to be changed. - Arc-shaped end pieces of the Pressure Bearing Assembly fall out. - Needle shaped Bearings dislodge from the Pressure Bearing Assembly. Do not use the Machine once this has happened. Damage may occur. - A test cut using four sheets of construction paper results in a clean cut (through all four sheets) on the left side of the Machine and no cut on the right side (or vice versa). - An End Bearing sticks out on one side of the Machine. Do not use the machine once this has happened. Damage could occur.
